Givenchy Magnolia Couture Edition Le Rouge Lipstick

If you’ve seen my previous post about Givenchy’s lipsticks, you’ll know that I’m rather fond of them. Their formulas are superb and the colours stunningly vibrant. For Spring/Summer 2016, Givenchy once again released a couture edition of one of their best selling shades and I was very lucky to receive one to share with you all. I received this year’s couture edition, the Magnolia Couture Edition in Le Rouge in 306 Carmin Escarpin.

This limited edition lipstick is encased in a stunning “couture” bullet featuring magnolia flowers. Like their normal collection, the bullet is indeed made of real leather as well.

The colour itself is a gorgeous bright poppy red and I can see myself wearing this quite often this summer as it definitely adds the perfect bright pop of colour to any outfit. The formula is the same formula as the permanent Le Rouge lipsticks and glides just as smoothly.

While it may be the same lipstick as the permanent collection, this is a collector’s item! I’m definitely loving the repackaging and am glad to have it in my collection. I mean it is a luxurious factor as well. Can you imagine pulling such a stunning lipstick out in public? I rather like the thought of having a “couture” item.

Would you buy a couture edition lipstick? If this one caught your eyes, you might want to hurry as only a limited amount is available for purchase!
