Givenchy Gentlemen Only Absolute EDP

I know what you’re all thinking, like didn’t she have a blogpost about Gentlemen Only already? Well as seasons change so do fragrances. For fall, it is not about being refreshing unlike spring’s Parisian Break EDT, it is about being sensuous, passionate, bold, and the absolute best. Givenchy embodies all of that with their newest addition to the Gentlemen Only line with their new men’s fragrance, Absolute.

Keeping their classic chic and minimalist signature bottle for Gentlemen Only, the Absolute version reeks of allure. Sleek, matte and black with the label in silver thread on a silky red background, the bottle and the packaging are inspired by the gentleman’s silk lined tuxedo. It is the epitome of sensuality and sophistication.

Quite the addictive scent, it captures the ultimate scent of fall, the woody spicy and orientatal scent that brings about some warmth. Absolute contains a combination of bergamot as the top note with an accent containing a trio of warm spices (saffron, nutmeg, and cinnamon), sandalwood and vanilla for the perfect sensual scent.

Simon Baker, the charming Australian actor is once again the ambassador and he is the perfect representation of the fragrance. Famous for his charms and his allure, he is the embodiment of all the gentlemen out there.

Unlike the Parisian Break EDT version, Absolute is stronger, and spicier. I quite like this version because it is rather fitting for fall to have a richer and warmer scent.

Now available at the Bay, Sephora and all authorized Givenchy retailers for CAD $110 for the 100 ml and CAD $89 for the 50 ml.

Will you be picking one up for the gentlemen in your life?
