Dior’s new spring collection for 2017, “Color Gradiation” has the perfect combination of bright, vivid and bold colours to achieve the fresh faced and dewy look that are ruling the runways.
As part of the collection, Dior has released a new selection of their Diorskin Nude Air Luminizers which was previously released as part of the fall collection. I was lucky to receive two of the three new shades, 003 and 004.
First of all, I would like to say that these are the prettiest highlighters I’ve had the pleasure to try. The packaging is so luxurious. The metal silver case has some weight to it and closes magnetically, I find it to be very well made and quite exquisite.
Each luminizer also comes with its own mini kabuki brush which are so adorable, soft, and perfect for a seamless application.
Onto the formulation, it is one word: AMAZING. I’m not even exaggerating, the powders are so smooth and pigmented with lots of fine shimmers. Only one swipe is needed for a stunning luminous glow that feels light as air on the skin (staying true to their namesake).
003 Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer (CAD $68) is a stunning gold tone highlighter. It’s a very flattering shade to achieve a nice healthy yet ethereal golden glow. I’ve been using a lot lately and it makes my cheekbones look amazing!
004 Diorskin Nude Air Luminizer (CAD $68) is the darkest shade of all four luminizers. It features a bronze shade highlighter with both warm and cool undertones. I think it would look absolutely amazing for anyone with a darker skin tone since it is a very warm shade. But since it does have cool undertones as well, it is in fact suitable for everyone.
As a highlighter lover (it’s a product that’s virtually ingrained in my beauty routine whenever I choose to wear makeup), this highlighter is truly breathtaking 🙈 I have truly been missing out by not owning one until now. Dior’s new luminizers truly help one to shine bright like a diamond💎
These new luminizers are exclusively available at Sephora and Sephora.ca until May. Check them out to get your glow on!
Note: The Gradiation powders/blushes are not coming to Canada unfortunately.
