Spring 17 Scents: Dior Poison Girl

One of my earliest beauty memories was me tippy toeing over the dresser in my aunt’s room to steal and play with her array of fragrances. There was one fragrance in particular that I remember the most because it eventually became my holy grail fragrance, Dior’s Hypnotic Poison. Ever since, I have tried all the Poisons, and Hypnotic remained the ultimate winner. Though, Dior’s latest addition to this amazing fragrance collection, Poison Girl (CAD $72 for the 30ml) looks to contest that position.

With notes of vanilla bean, bitter orange, Damaskan rose, rose de Grasse, tonka bean and almond, Poison Girl is the perfect combination of sweet and alluring. Much lighter than its previous counterparts, I find Poison Girl to be more refreshing (perfeeect for Spring 💕) and much more playful.

The signature Poison bottle for Poison Girl is a light almost iridescent pink which is very feminine and youthful. It is paired with a black cap and black bottom to showcase the rebellious attitude as well. Unlike the other Poisons, the logo is written in black as well instead of gold. A very modern change I would say!

Poison Girl might just be the newest addicting fragrance that I was waiting for 💟

Poison Girl is available at all official Dior retailers.
