Last year, I discovered the brand ESQIDO, and then got the opportunity to try their false lashes which were amazing, so I was super excited when they reached out to me to try their new gel pencil eyeliners! The new Esqido Gel Eyeliner pencils are available in 2 neutral colours, brown and black. They retail for $16 USD but are currently on sale for $12 USD. Esqido claims these are the new “holy grail” eyeliners but does it live up to this claim?

New month, new brows? Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve been trying out a new and completely different eyebrow product from what I usually use! I usually fill out my brows with a pencil so I was super excited to give SureThik’s thickening eyebrow fibers (CAD$ 29.99) a go.
A little bit about SureThik, they are a Canadian brand and all their products are formulated and made in Canada!
One of my very first high end lip products was Dior’s Lip Glow (CAD $41). I was only in middle school and I remember begging my mom to buy it for Christmas since it was “so cool mom, it is a colour changing lip balm!” Back then I didn’t realize that it wasn’t just a colour changing lip balm. Dior’s Lip Glow reacts to one’s lip to enhance the natural colour in addition to giving it a gorgeous tint. And I surely didn’t know that in the future I would carry a lip glow with me in my bag almost all the time. So one can imagine my excitement in trying Dior’s new selection of lip glows released as part of their Glow Addict collection!
A couple of months ago, Givenchy Beauty launched their foundations on the Canadian market. Now that my skin is less of a dry mess (Stress + harsh cold weather this year were not a good mix for my skin, my skin felt so rough and any face makeup, even my go to blush, would appear blotchy and flaky) I’ve finally been able to put the Photo’Perfexion line to the test over the last couple of weeks. This foundation promises a natural flawless complexion with a radiant finish!
Packaged in a glass bottle with the G for Givenchy inscribed in pretty gold glitter on the cap, the Givenchy Photo’Perfexion Fluid Foundation (CAD$62) is equipped with a pump which makes for easy application. It is also small enough to be travel friendly!
Sultry reds, rich greens and deep purples. If this sounds like your perfect Christmas/Holiday season colours, you will love Dior’s Precious Rocks collection. Inspired by Rubies and Emeralds, this is one of Dior’s bolder holiday collection but it is as usual Diorific. I’ve been trying out a few items from this collection including the Diorific Rouge Khôl Powder Lipstick, Diorific Matte Fluid Lip & Cheek Velvet Colour and Diorific Nail Vernis.

Halloween is in exactly 14 days and I’m actually super excited for it (though I have absolutely no clue what I will be doing for it as of right now). But I do love dressing up if I can, or even just through accessorizing or doing my makeup a little more spooky! It’s just such a fun holiday.
This year I know for a fact it will include nail art, courtesy of Nail Polish Canada who sent me these cute nail graveyard theme vinyls/stencils (each pack comes with 20 nail vinyls and retails for CAD $5.65).

Dior’s latest Rouge Dior collection features a selection of innovative shades (including the most perfect fall shades) and formulas in a totally new format. Think lip stains and liquid lipstick hybrids. That’s what comes to life in their new Rouge Dior Liquid Lip Stain ($43) collection.
Available in 3 finishes: matte, satin and metallic; the Rouge Dior Liquid Lip Stain come in an array of colours. I have one to feature from each category: Miss (Satin), a pretty pink shade; Scandalous Metal(lic), a deep metallic true brown and Dressed to (Matte), my absolute favourite and go to colour for fall, a deep oxblood.

Fluttery butterfly wing like lashes are everyone’s (maybe almost everyone) dream. Personally, I love long lashes but they have to appear natural. So I was always hesitant to try false lashes until Esqido reached out to me.
Esqido eyelashes are made with super soft mink (that are cruelty free) which make them appear not only like natural lashes but make them practically weightless as well. They also are made with soft cotton strips for ultimate comfort and packaged in the cutest rose gold and white packaging.
For a beginner and a contact lenses wearer, false lashes seemed really challenging. I’m not going to lie, I had some trouble in the beginning. At first, I couldn’t even decide on a style, but then I found Esqido’s online lash guide which talks about different styles and different eye shapes and it made choosing my perfect pair (or pairs in this case) really easy.

Ombré, ombré hair, ombré nails, ombré jeans and now ombré lips! Givenchy is making ombré lips easier than ever with their new and innovative line of Le Rouge Sculpt Two-toned lipsticks (CAD$45). Givenchy’s new line of two-toned lipsticks features 5 stylish shades in different colour combinations, with the darker colour enriched with the Noir Révélateur formula.
What does it do? With it’s light core and darker edge, the Rouge sculpt is meant to contour, contrast as well as add volume in addition to giving an ombre effect to one’s pout. The lighter shade highlights the center point of the lips where the darker shades gives definition to one’s lips.
